Desert Aire Makes News, Shares Knowledge via Trade Media

Industry awareness of Desert Aire’s capabilities and solutions is on the upswing. Media requests for technical articles, executive interviews and the publication of our news releases has led to significant coverage in recent months. Here is summary of Desert Aire-related news coverage.

The April issue of Marijuana Venture features an article contributed by Jim McKillip, western regional manager for Desert Aire. The article is titled “Designing A Cost-Effective Climate Control System.” Beginning on page 128 of the April issue, the article serves as a primer for growers and systems designers as they develop a comprehensive approach to determine the loads indoor climate control systems must monitor and manage. The April issue of Marijuana Venture also displays an ad for Desert Aire’s GrowAire™ Systems on page 9.

The Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration NEWS tapped Keith Coursin, president of Desert Aire, for an interview that appeared in the February 26 issue. Kyle Gregaro, editor, sought out Mr. Coursin at AHR Expo 2018 in Chicago this past January. Interview topics include the joint AHR Expo booth with Multistack, and the emerging market for climate control systems in marijuana grow facilities.

We also garnered media coverage for our news release announcing the publication of “Application Note 27 — HVAC Systems and Grow Room Energy Usage.” Application Note 27 is a six-page publication that helps growers, consulting-specifying engineers, and mechanical contractors understand the intricacies of grow room and indoor farm energy use. 

Trade publications and websites announcing the Application Note’s availability included Produce Grower, Cannabis Business Times and The Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration NEWS.
