October 2018

News Releases

Overview

Desert Aire and our project partners are finding it hard to contain our excitement over a landmark cannabis industry project and a related trade show presentation.

At 3 p.m. this Friday, October 19, at the Cannabis World Congress & Business Exposition in Boston, project leaders from the three companies will provide attendees with a first-ever case study titled, “Grow Room Environments for High-Quality Crops.”

Presenting will be Peter Armando, CEA technical sales, Griffin Greenhouse Supplies; Craig Burg, director of engineering, Desert Aire; and Christine Champagne, cultivation operations manager, Revolutionary Clinics.

Attendees will hear a first-hand overview of the design, build-out and launch of the new Revolutionary Clinics cultivation facility in a historic building in Fitchburg, Mass. Highlighted will be real-world issues and results; how to build a team environment for successful controlled environment agriculture (CEA); and how to use integrated HVAC strategies to maintain the indoor grow environment.

Tami Van Gaal, CEA division leader for Griffin said, “The Griffin process centers on understanding our customers’ needs and challenges, then identifying the best product mix to achieve their goals. Our experience with Revolutionary Clinics and Desert Aire is a terrific example of how well that process can work for cannabis producers. We’re thrilled for the opportunity to share this case study with CWCBExpo attendees.”

CWCBExpo-Boston will be held October 17-20, at the John B. Hynes Convention Center. In the Expo Hall, Griffin will provide Expo attendees with information on the company’s Controlled Environment Agriculture product and service portfolio including equipment, production supplies and technical support,  at booth #212.

Desert Aire will showcase our GrowAire™ Solutions that provide precise grow room climate control at booth #621. Also highlighted will be Desert Aire’s AireGuard™ Remote Monitoring Platforms, a remote access, monitoring and diagnostic service available to support the complete line of Desert Aire indoor climate control solutions. Technical Advisors will be available to answer attendee questions.
